MINISTRIES
At New Life Church of God our ministries are embodied in our Mission and Vision Statements. Our ministries are programmed to empower and transform lives through the love of Christ. We are a birthing center and our goal is to empower individuals to share the transforming love of Jesus Christ. We promote family values, and we provide love and support for all our family members.
Youth / R-Gen Ministry
On Fridays a radical generation of youths meet at 7:00 p.m. R-Gen’s goal is to assist youths in their knowledge of, and relationship with Jesus Christ. By using sound biblical teaching, principles and discipleship, this ministry seeks to execute, inspire capture and ignite young people for Jesus Christ. A radical generation with a radical mission.
Men/Ambassadors for Christ Ministry
Ambassadors for Christ aims to challenge our men to step up with purposeful strength and courage to say “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” We support, train, encourage and motivate men to impact their families, friends, and their community for the cause of Christ. To provide encouragement and opportunities for men to grow and serve together; and to encourage a commitment of involvement.
Volunteer Groups
Kid's Ministry
We do have a special place for children at NLCOG on Sundays. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. Activities include Bible Study, arts and crafts, along with discussions on various Bible characters. These discussions are led by trained volunteers. Breakfast is provided and we do have available transportation. Call the church office (718)363-7232 and schedule your pick-up to attend Sunday School.
Women/Women In Christian Service Ministry
WICS is designed for women from all walks of life. We provide Godly teaching, inspirational music, and warm fellowship. Grafted within this ministry is a Book Club, a support group and evangelism. Becoming women of excellence is one of the primary goals of this ministry. Your participation in WICS will not only promote spiritual growth, but you will meet new people and establish deep friendship.
